Adele Reminds Us That “Rolling In The Deep” Is Her Song

The power of Glee be damned, Adele proved once again that only she can truly do “Rolling in the Deep” justice, no matter how talented the song’s many famous copycats are. (We’re looking at you John Legend, Lea Michele and Jonathan Groff.) Shortly after Rachel and Jesse hate-sung the ballad to one another on last night’s Glee, Adele (reportedly under the weather) delivered a powerful performance on ABC’s Dancing With the Stars results show—one that really didn’t need to brought to life by the DWTS pros (just let her sing!). Watch as Adele infuses more emotion into the song with her subtle finger movements and expressive eyes than Ryan Murphy could ever add with one of his overcooked scripts.
