The Popdust Files: Afrojack, give me everything, Nayer, ne-yo, Pitbull

The latest artist jumping on the Eurodance bandwagon (courtesy of Dutch house producer Afrojack) is Miami rapper Pitbull, whose Ne-Yo assisted new single “Give Me Everything” has the same kind of feel-good party vibes and syncopated synth hook that mark one out of every two songs on the Top 40 these days. So where better to set their new video than in a club? Pitbull, Ne-Yo and singer friend Nayer do it up in some dimly lit abandoned mansion-type building (though Pitbull still feels the need to wear sunglasses), while some unnamed female monitors their activity via camera. It’s a lot like the video for Britney Spears’ “Till the World Ends,” except with less apocalyptica and a whole lot more product placement. Check it out in its panoramic glory below:
