“Friday” was thrown into the zoo enclosure of the internet like so much uncooked meat over two weeks ago, but it’s still spawning new parodies, remixes and tributes. Stephen Colbert covered the Rebecca Black single on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon last night, assisted by the Roots, Taylor Hicks and a large yeti (among others); despite his deadpan opening, everyone’s affection for the song is obvious. Best part: Black Thought “driving” onstage.
