Jewel’s “Little Rodeo Star,” and Other Lazy Pregnancy Cliches

Granted, writing clever copy for something as commonplace (though beautiful, man) as a celebrity’s pregnancy is not that easy. But there’s no excuse for:
3. “Songstress Jewel is expecting a little singer or rodeo star!”
2. “Jewel already has a slew of tunes ready for the baby! She released an an album of kid’s songs called Lullaby in 2009 and is now working on a second record for little ones.”
1. “Pretty soon (like, say, nine months or so), Jewel will have a piece of her and her hubby, Ty Murray.”
Congratulations, E! Online! And double congratulations for being the first media outlet to awkwardly reference Jewel’s 1995 debut in at least four years.
